When attempting to run sql.bat from SQL Developer HOME, the following error occurs.


C:\sqldeveloper-17.4\sqldeveloper\bin>sql.bat <dbuser/password>@localhost:PORT:<sid>
Environment variable echo on not defined
The syntax of the command is incorrect.
