Symptoms

A mapping validates successfully. When attempting to execute the mapping in simulation mode in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c, the following error is received:

JNPE at oracle.odi.adapter.OdiObjectAdapterFactory.createObjectAdapter(OdiObjectAdapterFactory.java:902)
Please check the Validation Results window for more information

However, the validation results window provides no additional information.
