Symptoms

On a customized WLS1036 for OTM after installing latest PSU from Oct 2017, when creating a data source from WLS admin console and activating changes an error comes up in WLS console: weblogic.management.provider.EditSaveChangesFailedException

Same error can be seen from log file:

As a result, data sources can not be created.

Changes

 This is the first time that a PSU was applied on this system.
