Autotrace And Explain Plan Not Functional When Using The "Other XML Column" Option (Doc ID 2349053.1)

Symptoms

In SQL Developer Autotrace/Explain plan becomes unfunctional when tracing is run with "Other XML Column", but works with the preferences set to "Other XML Branch".

There is no error message, except a warning message. 

Other XML Column works in older release of SQL Developer(likely 17.3.1 or older).

Changes

1. Choose option Tools -> Preferences -> Database -> Autotrace/Explain plan-->"Other XML Column"

2. Uncheck option under Tools -> Preferences -> Database ->Autotrace/Explain plan-->"Other XML Branch"
