Goal

The goal of this document is to assist Exalogic Exabr users to remove old backups taken with Exabr. The default retention policy for backups is to keep 5 backups. This is set as follows in the configuration file: /exalogic-lcdata/backups/exabr.config

 If a user has set the retention_count to a high value or '0' which indicates that no backups should be removed, the NFS share may start to run out of space due to the amount of current backups per component.
