Creating Elasticsearch WCC Connection Causes "URL Is Secured. Ensure Credentials Are Valid" (Doc ID 2352396.1)

Symptoms

Issue is occurring when attempting to configure Elasticsearch with WebCenter Portal 12.2.1.3.0 that was upgraded from 11.1.1.8 -> 12.2.1.2 -> 12.2.1.3.

When trying to setup the Documents (WebCenter Content) connection the following error is seen:

"URL is secured. Ensure credentials are valid"
