REPERROR IGNORE Does Not Work When Error Raised From Stored Procedure (Doc ID 2352800.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle GoldenGate - Version 12.1.2.1.9 to 12.3.0.1.2 [Release 12.1 to 12.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When error is raised from stored procedure, reperror does not handle the error action correctly.

**Example

REPERROR (21200, IGNORE)
MAP singles_owner.EHMATCHES, TARGET lexman.EHMATCHES_RS,FILTER (ON UPDATE,
RAISEERROR 21200, LASTCOMMDATE <>
before.LASTCOMMDATE),INSERTALLRECORDS,
colmap(USEDEFAULTS);

Even though the records must be ignored while SP raises error 21200, the records go to Discard file and fills it up.
