Symptoms
Attempting to restore or re-add a container tree and entries into Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g fails in ODSM and with ldapadd command line.
Error from Oracle Directory Services Manager (ODSM):
Add Failed. Host='<OID_FQ_HOSTNAME>' Details: [LDAP: error code 73 - PASSWORD OR USER NOT FOUND] Click "Back" button to specify correct values.
Error from ldapadd:
