Symptoms

In Exachk Version 12.2.0.1.4_20171212 "daemon" feature does not work as expected.

Following issues are observed with daemon option in Exachk version 12.2.0.1.4_20171212

"exachk -d status" command incorrectly reports exachk daemon as not running

"exachk -d status" command incorrectly reports exachk daemon as not running. This can be verified as follows:

  1. Run Exachk with -d to start daemon:
