Symptoms

Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On: Logon Manager

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

ESSO-LM agent fails to recognize the Bluezone Mainframe Emulator authentication screen after upgrading the emulator to a new version.

After upgrading the Bluezone Mainframe Emulator to version 7.1.5, the ESSO-LM agent no longer recognizes the mainframe template and fails to inject the credentials into the authentication screen.

 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

ESSO-LM agent continues to inject the user's credentials into the new upgraded version of the mainframe emulator after upgrading the mainframe emulator to a newer version.

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Upgrade the Bluezone Mainframe Emulator
  2. Start the mainframe emulator.

 

BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, ESSO-LM fails to recognize the new version of the Bluezone Mainframe Emulator.

 

Changes

 The BlueZone Mainframe Emulator was upgraded to a new version now owned by a different vendor.
