OID 11g / 12c : OID Is Not Responding And Crashing Intermittently (Doc ID 2357127.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.1.5.0 version, OID LDAP Server

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
OID is not responding and crashing 3 times in one week. And may vary.

OID which has been stable for the last few years starting to crash frequently.
It produces an empty dump file every time it stops responding, however opmnctl status shows OID as Alive.
 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
OID server should not crash and must be up and running until manually stopped or killed.

Changes

 orclactivestartdate was set to invalid value, which is an operational attribute and must not be manipulated manually.
