Oracle Access Manager (OAM) Integrated With Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) - "System Error" When Change Password via "Forgot Password" And Then Click On "Back To Login" Button (Doc ID 2362047.1)

Symptoms

An user named "<~_USERNAME>" gets the following error "Error - System error. Please re-try your action. If you continue to get this error, please contact the Administrator", on SSO login page when the password is reset through forgot password flow and click "Back to Login" button at the last step of the flow.

Environment

Steps To Reproduce The Issue

1. Click on "Forgot Password" button on login page.

 

2. Type user name, "<~USERNAME>".

 

3. Answer challenge questions.

4. Enter new password.

 

5. Click on "Back to Login" button.

 

6. Got the error page.

  •  This issue does not occur when the login name does not have ~ in head.
