UNABLE TO VIEW ALL IPS IN AUTHORIZATION POLICY IN APPLICATION DOMAIN OF OAM ADMIN CONSOLE (Doc ID 2364046.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 17, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Access Manager - Version 11.1.2.3.170117 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

 IP Addresses have been added to the Authorization Polices to restrict few URLs based on IP address and its working as expected.

Navigation issues in UI in authorization policy "IP Range" rules. There is no option to navigate to values beyond 8 and this creates an issue when customers have multiple rules defined.

No issue in validation of these rules but frontend it is difficult to either view or delete/modify these rules.

Use-Case:
======
1. Have Configured the IP Range rules in OAM Authorization Policy.
2. There are multiple rules to be added and however though there is no issue
in adding the rules, but the rules which are not visible withing the provided
box cannot be edited as there is no scroll bar to navigate through the rules.
3. No errors or logs generated as this is an access UI Issue.

Provide a step by step test case
================================
1. Login to oamconsole.
2. Open the Application DOmain
3. Navigate to Authorization Policy--->Public Resource Policy.
4. Navigate to conditions tab and create a 'test' rule.
5. Navigate to the condition details tab on the rule created and add multiple
ip address rules.
6. upon adding multiple rules, we cannot navigate through them beyond the
available screen area as there is no scroll bar available.
