Goal

 

Oracle Fusion Middleware provides procedures for changing the network configuration, such as the host name or IP address, of an Oracle Fusion Middleware host and the Oracle database that Oracle Fusion Middleware uses.

From 12.2.1.3 release onwards we use chghost utility to implement the network configuration changes.

This document points to the documentation link which talks about this new procedure for changing the network configuration of the DB host which is used by FMW install to load RCU schemas.
