Support for lazy loading of content in WebCenter Sites (Doc ID 2366201.1)

Last updated on JUNE 16, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 11.1.1.8.0 to 12.2.1.3.0 [Release FatWire]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

- How to load content on a page lazily in webcenter sites .

For example:  As user scrolls vertically along the page or if a user clicks on a section of a page,  Only content( assets) on the page have to be loaded. Is this allowed on our current version of WCS ?

- WCS provides page level caching of all the pagelets & assets only when implemented through the WCS caching mechanism (ie., render:satellitepage ,render:satelliteblob , etc). .If we load the content /assets/pagelets lazily , what would be the impact on the caching features ?
