Goal

We have a mixed Oracle DB version environments (11.2.0.4) and (12.1.0.2). We are using Oracle GG version 12.1.2.1 to support data replication between databases of these two DB versions. Need to get support matrix/information for the Oracle 12c ADO ILM advanced compression introduced in database 12c. Do we have concerns of compressed data flowing from 12c databases to 11.2.0.4 databases. Is it possible that the extract will "uncompress" the data before writing to the trail file? Or, does this have to do with format/release statement (needed to replicate between 11g and 12c databases)?
