Information in this document applies to any platform.
Retrieving a string text written with Cyrillic characters from a Java program using JDBC Thin 184.108.40.206 or 220.127.116.11 works for VARCHAR2 column, but does not work when reading from a CLOB column from a 18.104.22.168 database with character set CL8ISO8859P5. Junk characters are shown in this case.
However, the same works perfectly for previous database version 22.214.171.124 or 126.96.36.199 with the same character set.
