"Edit Linked Object" Option for Mappings in Package Diagram Not Available After Upgrade to ODI 12.2.1.3 (Doc ID 2374298.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading or importing to Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.3, the "Edit Linked Object" option is no longer selectable on Mapping objects in the Package diagram. It does appear in the context-menu list, however it is disabled.

It is expected the "Edit linked object" option would be selectable, as in the following screenshot:
