Questions Regarding Storing Coherence Data In De-serialized Format In The Distributed Cache (Doc ID 2375162.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 05, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Coherence - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Use Case:

Coherence cluster with 231 storage nodes (each with 8 GB heap size) and 110 extend nodes (each with 6 GB heap size). In the cluster, there is cache called "Metrix" which has about 215 GB of data in it. When needed, aggregation is done on ALL data in this cache. This results in deserialization of the cache data and impacting the cluster/node performance. Is there any way to keep data in the distributed cache in just de-serialized format only?
