Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ISSUE
-----------------------
User(s) cannot add/update content in Content Repository for New Projects in Contract Management (CM) integrated with WebCenter Content (WCC). Existing projects work fine.

When a new project is created in Contract Management which uses WebCenter Content as its back-end content repository, a new folder is created in Contribution Folders (Folders_g) which results in execution of COLLECTION_ADD service. This service within the WCC requires a valid dParentCollectionPath (i.e. the path to the parent Contribution Folder) for folder creation as one of the required service parameters.

Same applies when existing projects are updated, where this action executes the COLLECTION_UPDATE service and again requires a valid folder path.

See here for more information on services reference guide for Oracle WebCenter Content.

ERROR
-----------------------
As seen in trace logs:

STEPS TO REPLICATE
-----------------------
1. Attempt to version documents in CM linked to WCC.
2. The folders do not get created in WCC.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
User(s) are unable to create folders in WCC for new projects in Contract Management.
