I am migrating from oracle golden gate version 18.104.22.168.6 to 22.214.171.124.2 and from database enterprise edition 11gr1 to 12cr2 and from windows XP service pack2 to windows 2016 server
Problem is with process and replicat processes, the behavour of the " to call table columns has changed. As instance in extract process when filtering:
table table-name, filter (@strfind (col1, "aflgeo") = 0); --> in 11g
table table-name, filter (@strfind (col1, 'aflgeo') = 0); --> in 12c ( I had to change " to ' in order to run the process, if not OGG-01298 appears)
I opened a service requests previously and they told me to write ' to solve the issue. Anyway, I haven't read that in the new release of golden gate there is such change.
Might it be related to a parameter of the database or the OS?
I would like to have if possible same version of my parameter files (in 11g and 12c) to run in both environments
