Symptoms

Data containing Arabic, Chirilic or other Unicode characters is not properly loaded by Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c into XML files, JMS XML Topic (or Queue) messages.

The source Unicode characters appear as ??????? in the target XML file or XML JMS message.
