Receiving the Error "Aborting batch due to invalid file" when Processing Documents in WebCenter Enterprise Capture (Doc ID 2379861.1)

Symptoms

When processing files in WebCenter Enterprise Capture, the following errors occur.

Input files fail with the following error in the Capture diagnostic log file: 

[2016-10-05T15:06:48.487-06:00] [capture_server1] [WARNING] [] [oracle.odc.importprocessor.ImportJobSchedulerSessionBean] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '10' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [userId: <anonymous>] ecid: <ecid>] [APP: capture] [partition-name: DOMAIN] [tenant-name: GLOBAL] Aborting batch due to invalid file <path>\Invoices Import\<filename>.tif 


The Capture Client generates the following error:

Oracle WebCenter Enterprise Capture Client 

Message: 
   ice.driver.ImageCaptureDriverException: Error loading image file {<path>\Import\Invoices Client\sampleDocs\<filename>.tif}. 
Level: 
   WARNING 
Stack Trace: 
Error loading image file {<path>\Import\Invoices Client\sampleDocs\<filename>.tif}. 

 

Changes

Upgrade Capture to version 12c, processing documents from a new vendor.
