Opening a Document in WebCenter Portal Using the Direct Link Opens the Document in the User Home Space Instead of the Portal Where the Document Belongs To (Doc ID 2380081.1)

Symptoms

Opening a document using the direct link opens the document in the user home space instead of the portal where the document belongs to.

STEPS:

1. Connect to WebCenter Portal.
   
   
2. Navigate to a Portal.
   e.g. Portal1
   
   
3. Select the Documents Tab.
   
   
4. Select a document and click the Get Link icon.
   
   
5. Get the direct Link to view the document.
   The URL should look like this:
   
   http://<HOST>:<PORT>/webcenter/portal/wccdoc?dDocName=WCPVMORACLECOM000248
   
   
6. Paste the Link to view the document in the browser.
   Here you will see the document opens in the user Home Portal instead of the Portal where the document was uploaded.
   
   e.g.
   The document will open here: WebCenter Portal > Home
   When it should be open here: Portal1

Changes

The security group for the document was changed from the default security group from WebCenter Portal to a different security group to protect the document.

In addition some documents did not have set the Account field. This field must match the account created for the Portal (this matches the portal internal ID without underscores).
