Conversion of Microsoft Documents via WebCenter Content (WCC) PDFExport Fails with Error: Access Violation (0x03C1) (Doc ID 2381167.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.1.1.0 version, Content Server

Doc files with images are failing to convert via Inbound Refinery (IBR) PDFExport forced conversion.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Check-In MS Word document with images
2. Some but not all fail to convert to PDF
3. On fail: the document must be manipulated by removing images (adding them back in), Check-In, watch to see if converted
