Unable To Apply Patch For WebLogic Server 10.3.6 With Error "Unable To Locate Patch Archive" (Doc ID 2381619.1)

When applying patch to WebLogic Server 10.3.6, with BSU commands, the patch apply fails with below error

Steps followed that lead up to the error are below :

1. Stop all WebLogic processes

2. Unzip pxxxxxxx_1036_Generic.zip to MW-HOME/utils/bsu/cache_dir

3. Execute bsu.sh -install -patch_download_dir=MW-HOME/utils/bsu/cache_dir -patchlist=XXXX -prod_dir=/MW-HOME

4. Observe error: Unable to locate patch archive: XXXX
