"UnknownHostException" Occurred When Accessing EJB After Upgrading Weblogic From WLS 11g To 12c (Doc ID 2385890.1)

Symptoms

The remote application is failing to access EJB after upgrading Weblogic from 10.3.6.0.10 to 12.2.1.3.0 on Exalogic Box.

Managed server listens using IPOIB and remote application creates t3 channel with EOIB.   So the application uses EOIB address to access EJB,  but the Weblogic response is using IPOIB.
If you change the default listen address to EOIB,  the application responds normally.
