Last updated on JANUARY 20, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.0.0 to 12.2.1.3.0 [Release 12c]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Repository Creation Utility (RCU) requires several additional permissions in order to create the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1 Repositories.

The following privileges / roles are created in the WebLogic Server (WLS) schema by the RCU itself:

• Grantee: <PREFIX_WLS> Privilege: CREATE ANY VIEW

• Grantee: <PREFIX_WLS> Privilege: CREATE ANY TABLE

• Grantee: <PREFIX_WLS> Privilege: CREATE ANY TRIGGER

• Grantee: <PREFIX_WLS> Privilege: CREATE ANY INDEX

• Grantee: <PREFIX_WLS_RUNTIME> Privilege: CREATE ANY TRIGGER

• Grantee: <PREFIX_WLS_RUNTIME> Privilege: CREATE ANY INDEX

It has been noticed that when the RCU completes, the roles shown above are not removed.
