ESSO Logon Manager Fails To Initialize And Start Correctly (Doc ID 2386209.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On: Logon Manager version 11.1.2.3.0 

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Logon Manager client fails to startup properly on enterprise workstations

An increasing number of users are reporting that the ESSO-LM client is failing to startup on the desktop workstations.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

ESSO-LM client starts up on the desktop and synchronizes to the repository.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Logon to the windows desktop client.
  2. Wait for the ESSO Logon Manager icon to appear in the Windows system tray.

 

Changes

 February 2018 Cumulative Updates from Microsoft applied to the Windows 7 clients.
