Performance Issue is Encountered When Proxying Requests through Oracle iPlanet Web Server or Oracle Traffic Director(OTD) (Doc ID 2386818.1)

Symptoms

iPlanet Web Server or OTD is configured to proxy http requests to the backend server. When system is under load the performance has been degraded and response time is in the range of 10 seconds or 20 seconds or even higher.

Perfdump is taken when issue is occurring and it shows the following:
