ODSEE Server 11.1.1.7.0 on Windows - Replication Fails in 'access' Log with "fd limit exceeded Too many open file descriptors - not listening on new connection" (Doc ID 2388375.1)

Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.1.7.0 version, Replication suddenly stops working:

On a Windows platform the Directory instance replication stops responding.

In the access logs the the following errors can be seen:

[05/Mar/2018:06:06:15 +0000] - ERROR<12293> - Connection  - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - fd limit exceeded Too many open file descriptors - not listening on new connection
[05/Mar/2018:08:24:31 +0000] - ERROR<4124> - Config  - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - Configuration error  Unknown attribute nsslapd-maxdescriptors will be ignored.
[05/Mar/2018:08:24:31 +0000] - DEBUG - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 -  LOGINFO: UNIX-style permissions (600) not supported on Windows.
