Information in this document applies to any platform.

When reverse engineering a File data store with ASCII data, the value of the ASCII signed zone datatype is not visible in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Studio 12.2.

A model, associated datastore, and datastore attribute have been defined in ODI Studio > Designer tab. All defined components are based on a flat file input to ODI.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. In ODI Studio, create a model, associated, datastore, and datastore attribute as described above.

2. Set the attribute type to "Ascii signed zone decimal"

3. Reverse engineer the flat file

4. Observe that the value of the attribute described in point 2 above cannot be seen in ODI Studio.
