Can The "Via" Parameter Be Removed From The Header In An Oracle API Gateway Response?

(Doc ID 2390424.1)

Last updated on APRIL 24, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle API Gateway - Version 11.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In a particular use-case, it would be beneficial to remove the "Via" parameter from the headers of an OAG response. However, checking how this value is added using the trace logs, it would seem that at the end of the run, the system adds the parameter on the return. Is there any way to remove it or is this something standard that can not be changed?

Example:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Thu, 29 Mar 2018 14:30:24 GMT
Max-Forwards: 20
Via: , 1.0 oagv ()
Connection: close
