Is It Possible to Hide Teradata Stored Procedure Parameters in OEMM Lineage? (Doc ID 2390781.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management - Version 12.2.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Currently, when executing a lineage on a Teradata table that has a store procedure as part of the lineage, the result will be something similar to the image below.

On this graphical representation, the "yellow table" represents the relational tables and "blue table" represents the stored procedure parameter, which causes confusion to clearly identify that the "blue table" represents a store procedure. On a simple representation as above this can be easily identified, but on complex lineages this might be difficult as the object seems like a relational table. Hiding the stored procedure (and making it able to show as needed) should make the lineage easy to be ready by business users.
