Users Prompted to Retry Logon When Exiting An Application (Doc ID 2391831.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On: Logon Manager

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

ESSO Logon Manager agent prompts users to re-save password after exiting the application.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

ESSO Logon Manager does not prompt users to save the credentials after exiting the application if the user already has stored credentials for the application.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Create an application template for the target application.
  2. Publish the template to the repository.
  3. Open the application and save credentials in the New Logon wizard prompt.
  4. Exit the application.


BUSINESS IMPACT
Due to this issue, users are prompted to Retry the Logon after exiting an application.
