Slow Response On Crypto Operations in M7 Machine using Solaris 11 for Weblogic 12.1.3 (Doc ID 2392534.1)

Symptoms

Application deployed in WebLogic Server uses a Custom Authentication Module that uses SAML2 API and Integrates with third party Identity provider (IDP). Application is failing to load metadata file from Identity Partner and fails Authentication for end users. Below error is observed:

Metadata for entity http://<host>/sso and role {urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:metadata}IDPSSODescriptor wasn't found

 Also, and more important, slow response is observed and performance degrades over time until JVM must be restarted.
