SQL Developer Shows ORA-00904 All_Shard Invalid Identifier Error While Browsing Users under Security Node of DBA Menu Option (Doc ID 2392567.1)

Symptoms

While navigating to DBA menu on the Security option, the first time you start to drill down "Users" you get the following error:

ORA-00904: "ALL_SHARD" : Invalid identifier


For Example:

 


Steps to Reproduce:

1. Connect to database.

2. Go to menu option View --> DBA

3. Navigate to Security --> Users

4. Need to navigate in and out of the user's node a couple of times.
    That is, expand on user A (in this sample AISDBA) and its branches.
    Then move to user B (in this sample ANGIE) and expand it.
    Move back to user A.

5. Now error appears.

 

Changes

 This is seen with SQL Developer 17.4. Problem does not reproduce with SQL Developer 17.3.
