Symptoms

Maven SOA project archetype are not getting synced up with SOA application archetype when opened through Jdeveloper for editing.

In the attached screenshot a SOA application archetype created named OracleSOAApplication with a project name QueryWorkOrderStatus.

STEPS:
-------------

mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeGroupId=com.oracle.soa.archetype -DarchetypeArtifactId=oracle-soa-application -DarchetypeVersion=12.2.1-0-0 -DarchetypeRepository=local

Define value for property 'groupId':
Define value for property 'artifactId': OracleSOAApplication
Define value for property 'version' 1.0-SNAPSHOT: :
Define value for property 'package' com.sherwin.gea: :
[INFO] Using property: adf = .adf
[INFO] Using property: data = .data
Define value for property 'projectName': QueryWorkOrderStatus
Confirm properties configuration:
groupId: com.sherwin.gea
artifactId: OracleSOAApplication
version: 1.0-SNAPSHOT
package: com.sherwin.gea
adf: .adf
data: .data
projectName: QueryWorkOrderStatus
 Y: :

It was then opened in Jdeveloper for editing. The POM is under Resources.

Next an archetype oracle-soa-project created within the same application.

mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeGroupId=com.oracle.soa.archetype -DarchetypeArtifactId=oracle-soa-project -DarchetypeVersion=12.2.1-0-0 -DarchetypeRepository=local

Define value for property 'groupId': com.sherwin.gea
Define value for property 'artifactId': SyncWorkOrderAuditEUProcess
Define value for property 'version' 1.0-SNAPSHOT: :
Define value for property 'package' com.sherwin.gea: :
Confirm properties configuration:
groupId: com.sherwin.gea
artifactId: SyncWorkOrderAuditEUProcess
version: 1.0-SNAPSHOT
package: com.sherwin.gea
 Y: :

This time when imported this maven project in the jdeveloper for editing within the same application it gets imported but Resources folder is not showing up under the newly imported project however in the file system pom exists. (See screenshot1)
