ADF 12c Web App Deployment on WebLogic Server Enterprise vs Standard Edition With Cluster (Doc ID 2394545.1)

Goal

This question is when primary goal is to deploy custom web applications using Application Development Framework (ADF) on Oracle WebLogic Server 12c Release 2 (12.2.1), but trying to only use Standard Edition licensing.

• Can we run our ADF applications on WebLogic Server Standard Edition with a Cluster?
  
  
• If not, we can run our ADF web app on non-cluster environment, but there is some confusion:
  
   For this, we create base Non-Cluster WebLogic domain and extending that as ADF 12c domain by applying JRF template. However, while applying Oracle JRF template on non-cluster environment, it is automatically selecting "WebLogic Coherence Cluster Extension" template with JRF template. This is the reason for the question - Is this OK with WebLogic Standard Edition license ?
