Goal
This question is when primary goal is to deploy custom web applications using Application Development Framework (ADF) on Oracle WebLogic Server 12c Release 2 (12.2.1), but trying to only use Standard Edition licensing.
- Can we run our ADF applications on WebLogic Server Standard Edition with a Cluster?
- If not, we can run our ADF web app on non-cluster environment, but there is some confusion:
For this, we create base Non-Cluster WebLogic domain and extending that as ADF 12c domain by applying JRF template. However, while applying Oracle JRF template on non-cluster environment, it is automatically selecting "WebLogic Coherence Cluster Extension" template with JRF template. This is the reason for the question - Is this OK with WebLogic Standard Edition license ?
