Exalogic Virtual: Cisco Management Switch Status Has Switched to FAULTED From EMOC BUI Console (Doc ID 2395338.1)

In Exalogic Virtual racks, the following alert is displayed in EMOC console on Cisco Management Switch.

However, upon checking further, the Cisco switch has no any hardware or software issue, and can be accessed from control stack vServer without any issues. The credentials for Cisco switch asset are also correct from EMOC.

In most of the cases above alert can be fixed by doing one of the following actions.

• Rediscover the Cisco switch
• Restart the control stack.
• Manually close the incident.

However, in some cases the alert might show up again sometime later.
