Symptoms
Securing the WebCenter Portal Spaces Connection to Content Server with SSL results in the following exception during the login to WebCenter Portal:

The content server shows the inbound provider set up as 'good' and the content repository connection set up within portal shows a successful connection test. After restarting the portal managed server to apply the change and attempting to log back into the interface, the above message occurs.
