Purpose
This document provides instructions to upgrade the ILOM firmware on Exalogic compute nodes.
Scope
The procedure described in this document may be used to upgrade the compute node ILOM firmware outside of Exalogic Patch Set Updates (PSU) and official Exalogic one-off patches to resolve any critical bugs or security issues for immediate relief.
NOTE
Upgrading the compute node ILOM results in shutdown of the compute node. This procedure is highly recommended to be performed during a maintenance window.
