Cannot Create Blog Asset when Flex Definition Uses a Filter (Doc ID 2397642.1)

Asset Save Fails When using BlogThumbnailCreator: "Error -10003 encountered while saving."

The following error is seen in the UI: GA - Patch 3:
"Cannot save asset.

This attempt to save the {asset type} has failed.

Error -10003 encountered while saving.

Error saving an asset Asset.SaveAll : Error: error invoking method SaveAllNoPubLock in Asset.callSaveAllNoPubLock() pagename:OpenMarket/Xcelerate/Actions/NewContentPost" GA - Patch 2:

"Cannot save asset.

This attempt to save the Blog Asset has failed.
Error -100 encountered while saving.

Error saving an asset Asset.SaveAll : Missing argument: Imaging filter argument 'Output attribute name' is null."

In the sites.log, the following error is seen:

Bug is present in Sites (all base and patched-versions) + (all base and patched versions including latest Patch 3)
