Authentication Issue Using External LDAP PINGLDAP Using TLS Secured Connection (Doc ID 2398911.1)

Symptoms

Receiving error when trying to login into in WCP 12c using /webcenter/portal as a PINGLDAP user.

Caused By: javax.naming.CommunicationException: simple bind failed: <USER>:<SSL_LDAP_PORT> [Root exception is javax.net.ssl.SSLException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Unexpected error: java.security.InvalidAlgorithmParameterException: the trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty]
at com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapClient.authenticate(LdapClient.java:219)
at com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtx.connect(LdapCtx.java:2791)
