Performance problem when executing tasks in bulk using the workspace due to excessive WFRoutingSlip.getRoutingSlip executions

Symptoms

When adding a comment to a task (or various other operations such as reassign) you see multiple calls to WFRoutingSlip.getRoutingSlip. It appears to be getting the same tasks "routingSlip" information via the same database call:


If the oracle.soa.services.workflow.performance log is enabled to Trace:32 you may see the following example:


Which performs the following query that causes overhead:


SELECT taskId,taskNumber,routingSlip FROM WFRoutingSlip WHERE taskId= ?
