Oracle HTTP Server 12c Instance Fails To Start After a Restart Of Server "Invalid Instance Ohs1" Error (Doc ID 2402601.1)

Symptoms

OHS collocated with Weblogic 12.2.1.2.0 on a two node  cluster

After a bounce of the server, OHS fails to start on Node 1
On node 2 OHS starts fine.

Attempting to start OHS for node 1 from EM console, command line or startComponent.sh script results in the following failure:

Received error message from Node Manager Server: [Server start command for OHS server 'ohs1' failed due to: [Invalid instance ohs1].
Please check Node Manager log and/or server 'ohs1' log for detailed information.]. Please check Node Manager log for details


Nodemanager log shows:


There are no OHS logs generated. Enabling debug does not provide any further information.

Changes

 Server was restarted
