Insight Data Connections Not Saving

While trying to set up BAM for a clustered environment, user cannot save the Data Connections.
When trying to update the imported Data Connections, user can test  the connection but when the save button is invoked , user gets an error icon with no description.
When user creates  a new connection, the test connection is successful  and when user tries  to save the connection, a different error is encountered
