Replicate Process Getting Abended Due To Deadlock (Doc ID 2404510.1)

Symptoms

Customer was facing DEADLOCK issues causing the replicate process to abend.

Customer had a three way replication between three different sites.

error messages in ggserr.log shows:

2018-02-28 04:13:15 WARNING OGG-01004 Oracle GoldenGate Delivery for Oracle, <rep name>.prm: Aborted grouped transaction on '<schema name>.<table name>', Database error 60 (OCI Error ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource (status = 60). UPDATE <update query>
2018-02-28 04:13:26 WARNING OGG-01154 Oracle GoldenGate Delivery for Oracle, <rep name>.prm: SQL error 60 mapping <schema name>.<table name>_DEVICE OCI Error ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource (status = 60). UPDATE /*+ RESTRICT_ALL_REF_CONS */ <update query>
