WebGate in SIMPLE/CERT Mode Crashes on Apache 2.4 with Segmentation Fault After Bundle Patch Applied

Symptoms
Apache WebGate in SIMPLE/CERT mode is unable to connect to OAM server.
Issue is seen from Apache WebGate 11.1.2.3.171017 (BP08)
It works as expected until WebGate 11.1.2.3.170718 (BP07)
Segmentation Fault is seen in failed case.
OPEN mode WebGate is working fine.
Changes
When one installs any of the following WebGate Bundle Patches, it will result to Segmentation Fault upon accessing a protected URL:
- WebGate 11.1.2.3.171017 (Patch 26540269)
- WebGate 11.1.2.3.180116 (Patch 26999492)
- WebGate 11.1.2.3.180417 (Patch 27393427)
