ORA-28003, ORA-20202 Installing ORDS In a 12c Database (Doc ID 2408087.1)

Symptoms

1.  Extracted the ORDS software in an empty directory.

2.  Ran the command to install/configure ORDS:

$ java -jar ords.war install

3.  Entered the SYS password to create the ORDS schemas.

4. The following error occurs:

SEVERE: Error executing script: ords_create_schema.sql Error: ORA-20202:
ERROR: An error occurred during ORDS_METADATA
creation. ORA-28003: password verification for the specified password failed
ORA-06512: at line 62

Changes

 This is a new installation of ORDS in a 12c database.
